About the Company

Point Dance Ensemble is a local, non-profit dance company founded in January 2000 and is not affiliated with any specific dance studio. Company members of PDE participate in a company audition in the spring and must be studying dance technique at the area dance studios. The mission of Point Dance Ensemble is to inspire a lasting love and appreciation of dance to youths by providing live music and fostering unique collaborations with local artists and organizations. PDE offers a pre-professional experience for young dancers and introduces them to different aspects of dance including performing, rehearsing, choreographing and teaching.
